About Us Polyviews 多元視點報
Having debuted in May 2007, Polyviews is a bi-monthly local bilingual newspaper (Chinese and English), proudly serving the Kitchener-Waterloo area, Ontario, Canada.
To meet the needs of the multi-ethnic and multi-cultural development of Canadian society, Polyviews reports local community events, provides program information from governments and non-profit organizations, and introduces Chinese traditional culture to the general public. The aim of the newspaper is to serve the community and to promote communication, interaction, and exchange between different cultures.
Printed in colour on high-quality paper, Polyviews is distributed free to locations frequented by many people, such as libraries, community and business information centres, book stores, universities, grocery stores, food markets, coffee pubs, Market Square, YMCA, K-W Multicultural Centre, The Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum, The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, The Centre for International Governance Innovation, Region of Waterloo Administrative Headquarters, MP’s constituency office, Chinese Schools and education centres, Chinese restaurants, Chinese clinics, Chinese temples, and local Chinese associations.
One unique feature of Polyviews is that it is written in both Chinese and English, thus making it appealing not only to Chinese immigrations and Chinese students, but also to other Canadians who are interested in Chinese society and Chinese culture.
